Founded by a veteran. Inspired by freedom.
About the farm
Wendy Ryder's trails
I'm Wendy, a proud Army veteran with over 20 years of service. From truck driver to Civil Affairs NCO, Spectrum Manager, and Electronic Warfare Technician, my service took me to combat zones, Africa, and Europe—always mentoring soldiers along the way.
I'm a mother of three and grandmother of two. Horses have always been part of my life, and now I'm bringing that passion forward through Ryder's Riverside Trails—a place for healing, freedom, and connection through horses and the natural world.
In the early 2000s, my father ran a trail riding business on Ossipee Mountain Road. Years later, with my military career behind me, I returned to these mountains and rivers to carry on that legacy—this time with my own vision.
